PureSpace Home Solutions provides home and business cleaning services on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. This policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal information when you visit purespacehome.ca, request a quote, book a service or contact us.
Information we collect and why
We collect your name, phone number, email address, service address and property and cleaning details to respond to inquiries, prepare estimates, schedule and provide services, and communicate with you. If you choose to provide photos, pet details, product restrictions or other preferences, we use them only as needed to assess and safely perform your requested service. Please share only information relevant to the cleaning task; medical diagnoses are not needed.
We use customer and billing information to prepare invoices, process billing through QuickBooks, maintain business records and handle service questions or disputes. Please do not enter payment card details, alarm codes or lockbox codes in our quote forms, emails or uploaded files. We will arrange necessary access details directly by phone before your first visit. Photos should avoid people, identification, financial records and other private documents.
Consent and your choices
We explain our purposes when collecting personal information and obtain consent where required. Our quote forms explain that we use the details you submit to respond to your request. Optional details and photos are voluntary. We do not use service consent as consent to unrelated marketing. You may contact us to withdraw consent with reasonable notice, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. We will explain any effect on our ability to provide the requested service.
Sharing and service providers
We share information with our staff and service providers only as needed for the purposes described here. We use Fluent Forms on our WordPress website for online quote requests and QuickBooks for invoicing and business records, along with website hosting and communication providers. These providers may process or store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to local laws. We may also disclose information with your consent or where permitted or required by law.
Website technology
Our website and Fluent Forms quote forms may use cookies and collect technical information such as IP address, browser type and usage information to operate the site, deliver forms and protect against abuse. Third-party embedded content is subject to its provider’s privacy practices. You can manage cookies through your browser; blocking some cookies may affect website or form functions.
Protection and retention
We are responsible for protecting personal information in our custody or control and use safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity. Access should be limited to people who need the information for their work. No online service can guarantee complete security.
We retain unsuccessful quote requests for 12 months after the request, then securely delete or anonymize them unless a legal obligation or dispute requires longer retention. Booked-service and billing records are handled separately. We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes for which it was collected and for applicable legal, accounting or dispute requirements. Information used to make a decision directly affecting an individual is retained for at least one year where required by British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act. When information is no longer needed, it is securely destroyed or anonymized, subject to applicable retention requirements.
Access, correction and privacy questions

You may request access to your personal information, ask for a correction, withdraw consent or raise a privacy concern by emailing info@purespacehome.ca with “Privacy” in the subject line, or calling Jordan at (250) 713-6237. We may need to verify your identity before releasing information. We respond in accordance with applicable privacy law and explain any lawful limits on access or correction.
